Summary: The owner responded quickly to any questions which arose. Check-in and check-out were easy. The view from the balcony is wonderful. It is a very steep and windy road to the place. Glad we arrived during daylight. This was our first time to St. Thomas and we did not know how mountainous it is. If renting a car, make sure to get one that can make it up the mountains. You'll need a smaller vehicle (not SUV) to park at this place. Pros: view, neighbors who lived nearby were friendly, kitchen was well equipped (but could use some pot holders), bed was comfortable, designated parking spot. Cons: the sliding doors to the balcony are very heavy and hard to open and close, the backs of the doors where the doorknobs are could use a good cleaning, there is only AC in the bedroom. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because there are feral chickens that make noise all day and night long and there's a neighbor who leaves for work at 4:30am. Also, we saw a cockroach the first night there, and a few days later we had bugs on the towels. In addition, I think you may have to supply your own shampoo and soap. There was a little bit there when we arrived, but we had to purchase more. Moreover, there isn't a hair dryer.
