Summary: The location was fine. But you can only see the water from a limited angle by the pool, not at all from inside the unit. Outside you mostly have the Mountain View with a large water barrel when swimming or sitting in the chairs. There is a lot of deferred maintenance. Outside the umbrella is broken, the wooden chairs are missing pieces, there was no gas in either grill tank when we arrived, and the metal pole that holds some electrical wires is hanging off the building into the pool area. All these things can and should be fixed. Inside, the unit is overall shabby with some shutters unable to be opened, the doors in the master bedroom don’t line up and close so mosquitoes get in during the day and night to bite you. Also the sheets were stained. The 2nd master shower was broken and the powder room sink was clogged. In general some painting and general fix up needed. If you like to cook the kitchen is serviceable but tiny. Overall, not the vibe we were looking for. On a positive note, I did reach out to the property manager and she did bring new gas tanks, had the sheets changed and had the plumber come and make the repairs pretty quickly.
